Collaborations

Made with, not just for.

Viktoir partners with editors, galleries, architects and students to develop pieces beyond the studio's own catalogue — from limited editions to bespoke staging for international showrooms.

Showcases

Where the work lives
between commissions.

Sometimes Viktoir leaves the kiln and travels to show new editions, prototypes and one-off pieces alongside other inspiring makers or brands we've been reading & watching for years.

An old craft,
brought back to life.

Vicky Courtens unloading a fired ceramic piece from the kiln in the Roeselare laboratory

A ceramic design laboratory in Roeselare, Belgium.

Viktoir Ceramic Design, founded by Vicky Courtens in 2017, focuses on designing unusual original ceramic objects for various interiors. Tailored to the customer, Viktoir is the optimal choice to give an interior an extra touch that cannot be found anywhere else.

Driven by modern computer-aided production technologies, Viktoir brings an old handmade craft back to life — presenting highly durable, timeless designs: tableware, vases, candle holders and other decorative interior objects.

From screen to kiln.

THE FIVE STEPS: CAD → CAST/PRINT → FIRE → GLAZE → FIRE
Cast / Print Fire Glaze Fire
01 · Modelled

On screen

Each mother-form starts as a 3D CAD sketch — geometry refined until the silhouette holds from every angle.

CAD · CATIA · RHINO - KEYSHOT - CURA
02 · Made

3D-printed
or slipcast

A piece is printed in clay layer by layer, or slipcast from liquid clay into a hand-poured plaster mould.

SLIP · PLASTER · 3D MJF - 3D CLAY PRINTING
03 · First fire

Biscuit fired

A first firing turns green clay into biscuit — porous, durable, and ready to receive the glaze.

BISCUIT · ~960°C - UP TO 12HRS
04 · Glazed

By hand

Glazes mixed and applied by hand — terracotta, anthracite, cream, bronze, gold — chosen to suit the interior.

Hand-applied · Custom recipes
05 · Into the kiln

Fired & finished

The kiln decides the rest. Each object exits with a slightly different surface — proof of hand and heat.

1080–1240°C · UP TO 24HRS
"Just like in real life — one Cadzand does not work. Together, they shine more."
